The Los Angeles jury will continue its deliberations on the trial for Michael Jackson’s wrongful death case today, October 01. The panel started the deliberations September 26 and 27 and have not yet reached a verdict.
AEG Live was sued by Michael Jackson’s surviving family members for $290 million in personal and unspecified damages for the former’s alleged failure to properly supervise Jackson’s personal doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray.
Jackson died in 2009 at the age of 50 after Murray administered lethal doses of sedatives and anesthesia to help him sleep. Murray is currently serving a four-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter.
According to AEG Live, Jackson was the one who demanded to have Murray as his physician and that his medical treatments were kept a secret from his financial backers.
